That’s a wrap

πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ“ That’s a wrap….! My last class for the semester was last evening….it’s been a really enjoyable, busy semester this year. I have loved all the opportunity I have had to meet some lovely students.

πŸ“’ I am closing out today with some lovely feedback provided by some of my students on their experience of my teaching and engagement with them…

πŸ“’I have to admit I find teaching to be a hugely enjoyable and rewarding experience, it is definitely where I am using all the positive strengths and personality traits I have to the best advantage…..thankfully that shines through in my lectures….

πŸ’‘ I wish I knew that was my “home” a bit sooner, my first experience of teaching was in 2017, in my early 40’s I discovered something I really enjoyed and a job that felt so natural to me…..

..if I had one piece of advice to anyone it would be this:

“try to find where your natural strengths lie, and see if you can find a job that allows those strengths to thrive”

πŸ’‘Life is short as we spend a lot of time working….it is so rewarding when that work doesn’t feel hard…yes sometimes the hours are long…and the days can be exhausting…but the actual work for me in both teaching and coaching is rewarding, motivating and something I naturally enjoy…..that makes a huge difference in a very positive way.to view larger image,

“Maria is a great communicator with an easy style that cuts through the jargon. She is very supportive of her students and facilitates a positive learning environment.”
“Maria is an excellent lecturer. I enjoy how she looks for engagement from the class for interaction and Maria will listen to all we have to say and give us guidance throughout.”
” Maria was clear in her objectives and tasks required to complete the assignment. Lecture content was split up really well and has helped manage the assignment over a 4 week period a lot easier.”
