🌟Competency based interviews = Competency-based interviews are designed to assess specific competencies or skills that are important for the role you’re applying for.

The questions that are asked in a competency-based interview are structured as follows
🌟”Tell me about a time when you had to deal with a difficult customer.”
🌟 “Describe a situation where you showed leadership skills.”
🌟Give me an example of how you handled a challenging project.”
To get the best results in answering a competency-based interview, I strongly recommend you use the STAR approach. This method helps you provide a clear, concise, and well-structured answer. Here’s what STAR stands for:
🌟Situation: Set the context for your story. Describe the scenario you were in.
🌟Task: Explain the task or challenge that you faced in that situation.
🌟Action: Describe the actions you took to address the situation and resolve the task or challenge.
🌟Result: Share the outcome of your actions. Highlight the impact of what you did and, if possible, quantify the results.
By using STAR, you demonstrate your competency with clear, real-life examples. It also helps ensure your responses are focused and structured.
