Lucky to have got the opportunity to see Coldplay on their recent visit to Ireland….I was inspired by their energy, talent and dedication to their fans to make sure it wasn’t just a good performance/experience but a great one.

I would say the same dedication and hard work is what is required to make a successful transition or change for anyone looking for a new opportunity or a move.

💡 Transition is a process, it has stages and it needs patience go through each stage to ensure the final destination is the right one.

💡The journey has layers to it, it’s not just one thing or process that ensures success, it’s a lot of different things, the right path, a good CV and LinkedIn profile, upskilling if possible to make sure you are a stand out candidate, and some very good interview skills.

💡Chris Martin always had a thought for his audience, always checking in to see “How is everyone?”, the same rules apply in a job search. Who is your audience, what does a future employer look like, what are they looking for, and how do you meet them on the path to take some risk away from them?

💡Arm your self with some help, tease around ideas with people, research, spend time thinking about different aspects of a role you enjoy. Perhaps do a SWOT analysis on yourself, identifying Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.

💡Be GREAT! If you can! – Coldplay were simply that, they performed with passion and threw everything into their performance. Throw everything you can at a role you really really want, it will pay off and get you the result you want.

💡Get some help! Don’t be afraid to say you need some, everyone needs a helping hand along the way.
