Almost finished the “Spring Semester” I am grateful to have the opportunity to teach some lovely students, who have come to my lectures with an eagerness to learn, grow, and upskill.
I enjoy all the different things I teach, but I especially enjoy teaching “Transformational personal and professional development”.
I see this module as a huge “gift” to adult learners, who typically don’t have a minute to focus on their own personal development.
As adults we give a lot to our employers, our parents, our kids and so many other relationships we are lucky to have in our lives, but it leaves very little room for our own personal growth and reflection.
This module allows for that, and even better in a setting with like minded people where “peer learning” is at the core of this process.
Getting feedback from my students to improve my teaching is so important, to ensure I continuously learn and support my own learning but sometimes its good to hear it is “perfect as it is”.
Thank you to all my students who shared their beliefs, values and life stories with me, it was my pleasure to teach this and even better to get such lovely feedback.
Maria is an excellent lecturer with whom I had the pleasure of crossing paths before. She is knowledgeable, kind, very responsive, and always delivers interesting lectures supported by relevant materials. This particular module was very refreshing and offered a different approach to continuous improvement. It is perfect as is.
The very best of luck to all students who are now in the final stages or preparing for end of year exams and assessments, well done on getting this far, you are almost there, keep the focus and hard work up, you have got this!
