💡 One of the realities of being self-employed is that it can sometimes be a lonely place.
💡I was reminded last night how valuable it is to spend time with other women who understand the opportunities, challenges and occasional uncertainty that come with building a business and developing a career.
💡I was delighted to be invited by Susan Walsh CFP® to a KELLA dinner in Limerick, bringing together a group of women from different businesses and backgrounds.
💡What I enjoyed most was the openness of the conversations. Sharing experiences, hearing other people’s stories, talking about the challenges we face and making new connections with people whose paths I might otherwise never have crossed.
💡I spend a lot of my working life supporting other people as they navigate careers, leadership and change. Last night was a lovely reminder of the value of having that kind of network around me too.
Thank you to Metis Ireland for the invitation and to KELLA for creating the space for those conversations.
