❓ If you removed your job titles from your CV, would your impact still be obvious?

🎺 I am often asked what would my one piece of advice be to a someone who is job seeking….thought about that one! Here is the answer:

📢 Proving impact, not listing experience

✅ Loads of candidates have CV’s that show that you “have done the job”…but the employer wants to know what did you do for the organisation you have worked for!

✅You need to showcase clear, credible evidence of the value you have created for the organisation.

💡 How do I do this?

✅Key Achievements – List all the key achievements you have accomplished in your role, show outcomes not duties.

💡 For example:

“Improved customer retention by 18%” rather than “Responsible for customer accounts”

✅Try to translate experience into business language (cost, risk, efficiency, growth, people outcomes)

✅Demonstrating adaptability: how you’ve responded to change, uncertainty, new systems, or new expectations

❓ Why this matters so much in 2026.

💡AI can now replicate skills — it cannot replicate judgement, influence, and results.

✅A simple self-check for candidates

❓ If you removed your job titles from your CV, would your impact still be obvious?

✅If not, that’s the gap to work on.
