🚀Putting in the hard work ……pays off……🚀
🚀We are almost through the 1st quarter of 2025; my reflection of this year so far is very similar to my reflection on all of 2024…Hard work pays off….
✨ It is so evident when my clients and students do well, the messages of thanks for your help…I really wanted the job…or I really wanted to do well in this assignment….I worked hard…turned up…and put my back into it….and the result was sheer happiness….joy to have achieved the job of their dreams or the grade they wanted……
✨I encourage my clients to do the following:✨
1.     Put in a good representation of yourself. If that means a good CV and Cover Letter or a good well-crafted application form and a good representation of yourself in the interview.
2.     Pay attention to what is being asked, what is the role you are applying for, what are the essential criteria, have you told the reader in your documents that you have what they are looking for…. may it clear!
3.     Edit it, edit it, and edit it some more, it is tedious I know, and that something that you may want to do, but editing anything can only improve it.
4.     If you are stuck! Get some help!
✨I would encourage my students to do something very similar.✨
1.     Pay attention to what the assignment is asking for…there is no point in submitting a very well-crafted assignment if you have forgotten to answer the question that is asked.
2.     Structure is everything in academic writing, make a pre-plan, allocate word count to each section before you get started. It will keep you on track.
3.     Leave time to edit it, it will only improve it.
4.     Ask your Lecturer if you are stuck, they are the only ones that will really know what that assignment should look like, seek guidance from them.

💡 I had a vision of the race and I was going to give it everything I had…I had the training done, now it was time to show up…
💡I took over 1 minute off last years’ time….simply delighted my smile says it all!
✅ Hard work is everything…. put the effort in and you will get the results you are looking for.
