A take away comment for me from the commentary is, the players need to be:
That really resonates with any career transition, the unknown, the process, putting yourself out there, it’s all very uncomfortable.
Much like the golfers who stood up for putts, chips, drives with a huge audience, but they looked like the were comfortable with being uncomfortable. I am sure that didn’t happen over night, it took time and patience, and some team work to get there.
Not the worst place to be sometimes is a little uncomfortable, it means you are putting yourself out there, and giving something a try. A helping hand might be all that’s needed to make you feel comfortable about doing that.
